Lettum Eat! is Fighting Food Insecurity from both sides of the issue. Some people need food. Others need to know how to make better food at home. Chef Hank has a solution for both with Cooking Just Like A Pro.
Lettum Eat! was able to bless about 20 families at the end of 2020 with a shopping spree and free groceries. The organization served up 80,000 free meals in 2020 to the masses and was able to make a significantly larger impact on this handful of households after they were nominated by peers, friends, and family.
The Lettum Eat! Podcast was launched in January of 2020. It's available anywhere you get your podcasts normally. We are using our platform to hold the door open for and to shed some light on other ministries and people doing great things in our world.
Hank Reid is the Owner of Lettum Eat! and Executive Chef of Food and Beverage Director at First Baptist Church in Snellville. Having been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, he took his personal mantra "lettum eat" and brought it to people in need. Just a few months into this new project began, COVID-19 struck the community and now people in the community need his service more than ever before. In just 4 weeks they served 85,000 meals and they aren't slowing down.
